Hi,
My name's Tim Olsen, an MD/MBA candidate at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and the founder and CEO of Socratic Med, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation empowering students to get admitted and thrive in medical school.
I plan to share the unique background that led me to pursue an equally unique dual degree program. Moreover, I'd like to share what it is like to attend medical school and business school and detail my professional aspirations following graduation.
Additionally, chronicling my journey in founding and leading a nonprofit organization with over 100 volunteer staff members serving students across the world pertains to the second area of focus provided by this blog.
My goal in sharing these experiences is several-armed:

(2) entertain
(3) inspire
To make this interactive and as valuable as possible, I'd love to field questions from those who have specific inquiries about my individual experiences that I may not go into as much detail in initial writings. Finally, answering questions from premeds and students aspiring to business is another way to tailor this blog to your needs.
